A pleasing conversation with Louis vuitton handbags

The Chicago Tiffany Incubator Board met this week at the CFI space to discuss the first three months of progress since the Incubator launched in March. The Board was pleased to hear about all of the accomplishments the Louis vuitton handbags have already made and impressed with the amount of press CFI and the six Louis vuitton handbags have received in such a short amount of time. The program is really moving in the right direction!!

I know I can’t wipe the slate clean, which is fine. But I like being able to tone things down and prevent further damage. Today I’m sharing three products I’m loving. Along with brightening skin, they’re excellent multitaskers that do all sorts of other great stuff to help improve the complexion. These are bigtime multitaskers that give a lot of bang for the buck.I get excited when I come across skin brightening products. One reason is because I’m noticing pigmentation “issues” as I get older, like a lot more freckles. I know freckles can be charming and all; but I’m getting into age spot/sun damage territory. I upped the contrast in this pic to show just how spotty I’m getting – sort of like one of those scary sun-damage-revealing UV photos. I’ve also got scars from acne that has long since gone.

Onerary opened its show in an unconventional “only in San Francisco” way with a dramatic spoken word performance followed by a preview of its spring “wearable art” collection of ethereal, hand-painted, embellished, deconstructed men’s and women’s wear. And 615 Project closed down the house with elegant and beautifully draped silk-jersey cocktail dresses and evening gowns. The party continued at the Supperclub after hours where we sipped cocktails and champagne while lounging on beds and dancing to techno music.As for the actual catwalk, the shows ended on a high note with three Louis vuitton handbags who stood out from last evening’s pack: Effie’s Heart, Onerary and 615 Project. Effie’s Heart set a playful mood with its collection of cotton jersey T-shirts, skirts and casual flapper dresses inspired by jazz singers from the 1920s and ’30s.

Designer fashion for children

How we dress our children reflects how we see ourselves as parents. For a hip mum in the late 1960s or early 70s, a daughter dressed in a miniature Biba halterneck top with matching wide trousers and headband, or a tiny son in folky, crazy-coloured Clothkits dungarees was an instant way to send a clear message.

To modern eyes the little girl in the stripy Ungaro coat looks eerily Vogue-ish and womanly. But the historical context is important here. The mini-me phenomenon was a reaction to the old-fashioned, seen-and-not-heard style of nursery-wear that preceded it. Dressing children in a more grown-up way was meant not to end their childhood freedoms, but to acknowledge that children were people too.

I was a Clothkits kid myself, resplendent in red and purple heart-print sundresses with matching knickers. Now that I have my own children, three decades later, fashion has made an about turn. Mini versions of adult fashion have become the norm. Baby boys wear pre-faded jeans, while tiny girls wear fake-fur gilets and slogan T-shirts.

As ever, those who consider themselves one step ahead reject this look, in one of two ways. On one hand, every festival this summer had Bugaboo-pushing parents taking the mini-me trend to a tongue-in-cheek extreme, with babies dressed in tiny versions of vintage Ramones T-shirts and mini Converse.

Meanwhile, in the most fashionable cafes, there is a burgeoning craze for dressing children in the very traditional French label Bonpoint. Little girls wear double-breasted coats in crisp poplin, while boys are once again in knickerbockers. The only thing certain is that the children currently dressed like junior members of a 1950s European royal family will dress their own children in the polar opposite.

Fashion icon Kate Moss has finished her latest photo shoot for American Vogue and looks stunning in an expensive designer Oscar de la Renta white taffeta dress. The shots are to be published in the May issue to celebrate the New York 2009 Costume Institute Gala which is sponsored by fashion designer Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs commented on Kate Moss saying: “There has been so much written about her personal style. But it isn’t her personal style that interests me, it’s her person.”

Fashion designer Matthew Williamson who has produced a successful range of designer fragrances under his own name is more commonly known for his collaboration with Debenhams for his fashion and accessories ranging from bags to clothes. Mr Williamson has just produced his new range of clothing and accessories for H&M for 2009.

Dame Helen Mirren, the veteran actress and national institution of Great Britain, is now 64 years old and “wowed the crowds” at a State of Play in London’s Leicester Square. Showing she was every inch the star, Dame Helen looked stunning in a figure hugging DKNY dress and Jimmy Choo Shoes.

There seems to be a new fashion trend for exposed zips on clothing. The top two footballer’s wives Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham have been seen displaying zips on their dresses as a feature which has now filtered down into high street fashion and currently leading the way as a new trend. Recent reports say that Victoria Beckham “loves this added detail so much she has incorporated full-length gold zips on to every dress in her own 10-piece collection.”
